London Square given the go-ahead for second phase of Putney scheme

Developer London Square has been given consent for the redevelopment of 111 Upper Richmond Road in south-west London's Putney, as part of a two-phase scheme including the neighbouring 113 Upper Richmond Road, according to a report in the Estates Gazette .

The mixed-use scheme at 111 Upper Richmond Road includes 37 residential units; a new public square; 11,000 sq ft of office space; and ground floor retail space. The building is currently in office use.

London Square intends to integrate the proposals with their redevelopment of 113 Upper Richmond Road, for which Wandsworth Council granted consent in April 2013.

Together the two phases will comprise 113 residential units and 47,000 sq ft of offices and retail space.

Completion at both sites is expected in 2016.
