British investors made 2,258 transactions worth AED5.811 billion ($1.58 billion) in Dubai in the first half of 2014, the report said, quoting statistics from Dubai Land Development.
The event at the London Olympia exhibition centre, the first of what organisers hope will become an annual event, will host over 120 exhibitors including private islands and beach resorts. It will give access to consultants, brokers, developers and marketing agents, organisers Sumansa Exhibitions told Arabian Business.
Sunil Jaiswal, president of Sumansa Exhibitions said: "Dubai’s real estate is one of the best markets in the world and surely the number one in Middle East region. Dubai has achieved a great reputation world wide as a favourite tourist and business destination. On the other hand British property investors are savvy, they understand the potential here and also value no tax policy on rental and capital gains. Plus, no restriction on repatriation of funds just makes Dubai Real Estate market not only fruitful but easy and transparent."
