Microsoft warns of security risks

Microsoft yesterday disclosed security flaws in its Office software, Internet Explorer browser and operating systems Windows XP Professional and Windows NT 4.

According to Microsoft, hackers could exploit the vulnerabilities to run programs, read or destroy data and even crash computer systems, or to launch denial of service attacks.
