Direct Line squashes esure's mouse on wheels Direct Line Insurance has won the High Court's backing in a bid to block a rival's application to trade mark a representation of a computer mouse on wheels. Honeywell faces file-sharing probe from police and BPI Police and UK music industry body the BPI executed a search warrant at engineering firm Honeywell this week amid allegations that thousands of music files were being shared illegally on the company's computer system. 04/07/2007 http://www.out-law.com/page-8202 4. WEEE Regulations now in force in UK Manufacturers, importers and retailers of domestic appliances, IT equipment and gadgets face new legal duties to ensure the proper disposal of old products. EU reaches SWIFT deal with US The European Union has come to an agreement with the US over the use of European banking data from payments agency SWIFT.
