The Court of Appeals has asked Europe's highest court to rule on whether UK
authorities can seize counterfeit goods passing through the UK and allow brand

Over 1,500 domain names handed to hotels group in single ruling
A hotels group has gained control of over 1,500 domain names, using a dispute
resolution process to take control of them from one man in Germany who controls
over 70,000 domain names.

How to avoid losing a subsidiary by mistake: lessons from the Court of Appeal
A parent company can inadvertently lose control of its subsidiary, according to
a ruling by the Court of Appeal. An expert has said that the circumstances in
which this will happen are rare but that directors of group companies should
mitigate the risks.

Tech deals collapsed last year but analysts predict early upturn
The number of technology company mergers and acquisitions fell by 60% and the
value of those deals by 52% last year, according to figures produced by
consulting form PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
