Customer data most popular stolen item for departing workers, claims industry survey Customer data is the most likely item to be stolen from a company by departing employees and contractors, according to a survey by an IT security company. ECJ ruling removes VAT advantage of salary sacrifice schemes Drugs giant Astra Zeneca should pay VAT on retail vouchers given to staff that form part of a salary sacrifice scheme, the European Court of Justice (ECJ) has said. Minister hints that libel reform will create privacy law A justice minister has said that there is "consensus" that a privacy law is needed, though he stopped short of committing the Government to introducing one. Oracle sues Google over Java patent claims Oracle has sued Google, claiming that the company's Android mobile phone operating system violates patents in Java, a technology the database giant acquired when it bought Java inventor Sun Microsystems earlier this year. 16/08/2010 http://out-law.com/page-11309 6.
