Politician will make defamation payout over Twitter post
A Twitter post about election day goings-on at a polling station was defamatory
and will lead to a payout from one Welsh politician to another, according to a
court-approved settlement.

EU copyright database could form basis of reform of law on orphan works, says EU commissioner
A project designed to identify the copyright status of European works will be
extended to cover multimedia material and could become a vital tool in the
reform of the law surrounding orphan works, a European Commissioner has said.

OFT says group-buying deal may have breached consumer laws
A group-buying website may have breached consumer protection laws when its
advertising for cheap iPhones encouraged 15,000 people to sign up to its scheme
despite there being only 8 phones for sale at the advertised price, a consumer
regulator has said.
