The hospital is considering a sale of the freehold of the site, which could raise £500 million, together with a relocation to another west London site.
Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust has started looking in areas such as White City for a suitable alternative site. The existing location has large development opportunities and would attract enormous interest, according to the Times report.
