The developer's planning application proposes to retain 170 acres of the development as open space to be used for recreation. The site is located to the south of Branston Village and is bordered by the River Trent.
St Modwen has adapted the plans and proposed to reduce the amount of employment space by 80,000 sq ft. The new proposals also increase the number of four and five bedroom properties that are available, to around 300 homes.
East Staffordshire Borough Council will now review the application.
