A2Dominion plans £8 million housing redevelopment in Oxfordshire

Housing association A2Dominion is preparing to submit a planning application for a new housing development in Oxfordshire, following consultation with residents of Luther Court.

The housing development, which has been designed by Yurky Cross Architects, proposes a mixture of student flats and family homes to be situated on a 30 year old housing estate.

The development will comprise 19 student cluster flats, which will have capacity to house 76 students. The scheme also includes 35 two bedroom houses for rent and eight one bedroom houses.

“This is an exciting redevelopment project which will not only provide high quality new homes, replacing the existing Luther Court scheme which is almost 30 years old, but improve access and privacy for residents," said A2Dominion area director Laurinda Hornblow.

The planning application is due to be submitted to Oxfordshire County Council soon and will be subject to panning consent. Work on the site would be expected to begin in late 2012.
