United House wins contract to help deliver £500m housing framework

Contractor United House has secured a contract worth up to £500 million with a major housing provider to build, repair and refurbish homes in London.

A2Dominion has awarded the four year contract to United House to help deliver the framework, which focuses on urban and town centre areas on both greenfield and brownflield sites. The estimated value of contracts is between £5m and £25m a year.

It is planned that the homes will be built and refurbished to be high density with many storeys. The framework requires the use of renewable technologies.

"A2Dominion is one of the country’s leading developing housing associations and we have thousands of homes in the development pipeline in London," A2Dominion’s development director (programme & quality) Doreen Wright said."We look forward to working alongside United House to deliver more high-quality new homes in the capital."
